GradeOS is a small, founder-led company solving a category problem we lived through. We don't pitch from a slide deck. We grade devices, we eat dispute chargebacks, and we built the software we wished existed. Here's the team, the mission, and the trust posture behind it.
A mission statement that fits on a coaster. If we ever violate one of these, you're allowed to call us on it — and walk.
GradeOS is founder-led. CJ runs the company, codes the model, talks to every pilot customer, and grades devices on weekends to keep the rubric honest. We're hiring around him — open roles below.
CJ ran Electronics Warehouse — a refurb shop in New Jersey — for years before starting GradeOS. He's personally graded over forty thousand phones, eaten the buyer disputes, fought with the inconsistency, and called every enterprise grading vendor for a quote. When the cheapest answer came back at $250K, he started building the alternative.
GradeOS is what came out of that. The model, the rubric, the dispute logic — all designed by someone who'd been on the wrong end of every problem the product solves.
"I'm not selling you a platform. I'm sharing the tool I built to fix my own shop, and now I want yours to run on it too."
We're not hiring "talent." We're hiring people who've spent time on a warehouse floor or shipped real ML or sold to operators directly. The bar is: would you trust this person to grade a $400 device and stand behind the call?
Enterprise security is usually a checklist with vague answers. Here's exactly what's true today, what's in progress, and what's not built yet. No claims we can't back up.
Audit engagement signed. Target attestation date: Q3 2026. We'll share gap analysis and remediation roadmap with enterprise prospects under NDA.
GradeOS never sees end-customer PII. We process device-level identifiers (IMEI, serial, model, condition) and photos of devices — not photos of people, not customer records.
All workloads run in U.S. regions (AWS us-east-1, GCP us-central1). Customer data encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. No third-country processing.
Enterprise tier prospects can request a single-tenant deployment in their own cloud account or ours. Available H2 2026. Until then, the multi-tenant architecture isolates customer data at the database row level.
Security questionnaire ready under NDA. Email cj@electronicswarehouse.solutions and we'll route the right doc within 24 hours.
The point of grading is to stop chargebacks. Enterprise vendors won't sign that promise. We will. Available on Growth and Enterprise tiers, funded out of a per-device reserve — not a marketing budget.
30 minutes with Cesar. We'll walk through your shop's grading workflow, run live devices through the model, and answer the questions that matter to your procurement team. No deck. No pitch.
