Built by an operator.
Built for the floor.

GradeOS is a small, founder-led company solving a category problem we lived through. We don't pitch from a slide deck. We grade devices, we eat dispute chargebacks, and we built the software we wished existed. Here's the team, the mission, and the trust posture behind it.

01 / Mission

Three rules.
We don't break them.

A mission statement that fits on a coaster. If we ever violate one of these, you're allowed to call us on it — and walk.

M / 01
Operators first.
Every feature gets a sanity check from someone who's actually argued with a buyer over a B+ vs. an A-. If a workflow doesn't survive contact with a shop floor, it doesn't ship. The founder grades devices. Engineering grades devices. Sales grades devices. That stays true forever.
M / 02
Honest math.
Pricing is published. Accuracy numbers are published. Dispute rates are published. No "contact sales for pricing" games, no hidden tiers, no asterisks. If we lose a deal because the math doesn't work for you, that's the math doing its job.
M / 03
No quarter-million walls.
The grading category was built for carriers. $250K stations, 14-week deployments, annual contracts before you've graded a single device. We refuse to let that be the price of admission. Mid-tier shops grade the same devices — they deserve the same tools.
02 / Founder

One operator,
building in public.

GradeOS is founder-led. CJ runs the company, codes the model, talks to every pilot customer, and grades devices on weekends to keep the rubric honest. We're hiring around him — open roles below.

CJ ran Electronics Warehouse — a refurb shop in New Jersey — for years before starting GradeOS. He's personally graded over forty thousand phones, eaten the buyer disputes, fought with the inconsistency, and called every enterprise grading vendor for a quote. When the cheapest answer came back at $250K, he started building the alternative.

GradeOS is what came out of that. The model, the rubric, the dispute logic — all designed by someone who'd been on the wrong end of every problem the product solves.

"I'm not selling you a platform. I'm sharing the tool I built to fix my own shop, and now I want yours to run on it too."
03 / Open Roles
We're hiring operators.
Founder-led · Equity + cash · Remote-friendly · U.S.

We're not hiring "talent." We're hiring people who've spent time on a warehouse floor or shipped real ML or sold to operators directly. The bar is: would you trust this person to grade a $400 device and stand behind the call?

Head of ML / Computer Vision
Full-time
Own the vision pipeline. Defect detection, grade rubric, confidence calibration, on-device inference. You'll work directly with shop floors — your model gets feedback from real disputes, not benchmark sets.

Founding Engineer · Backend
Full-time
Python/FastAPI, GCP/AWS, real-time grading pipeline, integrations into ERPs and marketplaces. You'll touch every part of the stack and ship to production weekly. Bonus: any time on a warehouse floor or refurb pipeline.
Eng · Remote · Senior Apply →
Head of Go-to-Market
Full-time
Sold software to refurb / ITAD / wireless wholesalers before. You know the buyer (owner-operator at mid-tier, procurement at enterprise) and you've displaced an incumbent. Build the GTM motion from zero, not from a playbook.
GTM · Hybrid · Lead Apply →
Customer Success Engineer
Full-time
First point of contact after the sitdown. You'll integrate GradeOS into customer ERPs, debug grading edge cases, and own renewal. Half engineering, half operator empathy — you actually grade devices to stay sharp on the rubric.
CS · Remote · Mid-Senior Apply →
Operations Advisor
Part-time
You ran a refurb shop at 50K+ devices/month or sat in operations at an Apkudo/NSYS customer. Quarterly retainer, monthly 1:1 with Cesar, you stress-test the roadmap and unblock customer escalations. Helps if you still grade.
Advisor · Remote · Senior Apply →
Don't see your role?
Open
If you've operated, sold to operators, or shipped ML to operators — and you'd take a haircut on cash to build the version of this category that actually serves mid-tier — we want to talk. Tell us what you'd own.
04 / Security & Trust

No theater.
Just the posture.

Enterprise security is usually a checklist with vague answers. Here's exactly what's true today, what's in progress, and what's not built yet. No claims we can't back up.

In Progress

SOC 2 Type I

Audit engagement signed. Target attestation date: Q3 2026. We'll share gap analysis and remediation roadmap with enterprise prospects under NDA.

  • Auditor selected · scope defined
  • Policy framework drafted
  • Type II to follow within 12 months of Type I
  • DPA available under NDA today
Live

No PII. IMEI-only.

GradeOS never sees end-customer PII. We process device-level identifiers (IMEI, serial, model, condition) and photos of devices — not photos of people, not customer records.

  • IMEI + serial + model attributes only
  • No customer names, addresses, or accounts
  • Device photos — never faces
  • Data retention configurable per tenant
Live

U.S. infra. Encrypted.

All workloads run in U.S. regions (AWS us-east-1, GCP us-central1). Customer data encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. No third-country processing.

  • AES-256 at rest · TLS 1.3 in transit
  • Region-locked: U.S. only
  • Key management: AWS KMS / GCP KMS
  • Audit logs retained 12 months
Roadmap

Single-tenant deployment.

Enterprise tier prospects can request a single-tenant deployment in their own cloud account or ours. Available H2 2026. Until then, the multi-tenant architecture isolates customer data at the database row level.

  • Single-tenant in customer VPC (planned)
  • BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) — H2 2026
  • Row-level tenant isolation today
  • Penetration test scheduled Q3 2026

Security questionnaire ready under NDA. Email cj@electronicswarehouse.solutions and we'll route the right doc within 24 hours.

05 / The Promise

If a buyer disputes,
we cover it.

The point of grading is to stop chargebacks. Enterprise vendors won't sign that promise. We will. Available on Growth and Enterprise tiers, funded out of a per-device reserve — not a marketing budget.

"We don't sell software that might grade your devices right. We sell a grade that's guaranteed — backed by a dispute credit that comes off your invoice the day the chargeback hits." — Cesar Delossantos · Founder, GradeOS

What's covered

  • Verified buyer disputes on Grade A/B devices
  • Credit up to $25/device, capped at 2% of monthly volume
  • Photo evidence handled automatically — no claim paperwork
  • Credit applied to next invoice, not a marketing rebate
  • Reserved out of a per-device dispute fund, audit-traceable

Ready for the sitdown?

30 minutes with Cesar. We'll walk through your shop's grading workflow, run live devices through the model, and answer the questions that matter to your procurement team. No deck. No pitch.
